Breaking News: Brandeis University study shows patients have a high rate of satisfaction with chiropractic care.
When asked to rate their satisfaction on a 10 point scale, 87% of patients in the study gave their doctor of chiropractic a level of 8 or higher. What's more, 56% of those patient's rated their chiropractor with a perfect 10.
Contributing to that satisfaction was the attention given to patients' needs and the accessibility of chiropractic care. Patients reported that doctors of chiropractic listened to them carefully and spent sufficient time with them. This study correlates with a study this fall from the Consumer Reports Health Ratings Center on patient satisfaction. 14,000 low back pain patients were asked to rate how helpful and satisfied they were with their care. Chiropractic treatment was rated #1 over (in descending order) physical therapy, acupuncture, M.D. specialist and lastly M.D. primary care. The report states that "88% of those who tried chiropractic said it helped a lot and 59% were 'completely' or 'very' satisfied with their chiropractor." Experience counts...
